Using Email Templates

Overview

Email templates save you time by providing pre-designed layouts you can reuse across campaigns and sequences. Kartivo includes a library of templates and lets you create your own.

Using a Built-In Template

  1. When composing an email (in a broadcast or sequence), click "Choose Template".
  2. Browse the template library by category: Welcome, Promotional, Transactional, Newsletter, or Minimal.
  3. Click a template to preview it.
  4. Click "Use This Template" to load it into the editor.
  5. Customize the text, images, and colors to match your content and brand.

Creating a Custom Template

  1. Navigate to Email → Templates.
  2. Click "New Template".
  3. Use the drag-and-drop editor to build your layout with text blocks, images, buttons, dividers, and social links.
  4. Save your template with a descriptive name.
  5. Your custom template will now appear in the template picker whenever you compose an email.

Template Best Practices

  • Keep designs simple — overly complex emails often render poorly on mobile devices.
  • Use a single-column layout for best readability across all screen sizes.
  • Include your logo and brand colors for consistency.
  • Always preview your template on both desktop and mobile before saving.
  • Limit images — too many images can trigger spam filters and slow load times.

Templates are shared across your entire account, so any team member can use them when sending emails.
